If I was going to pick a favorite movie, it would have the be “The Social Network.” I completely disagree with your analysis. It really wasn’t about Facebook, it was about the relationship between Zuckerberg and Saverin. I thought the characters were very compelling and that it was a wonderfully told story. The morning after the first time I watched it, I watched it again.

My “1A” movie was one that got very little acclaim was “The American” with George Clooney. Really interesting take on the traditional American western film and Clooney was just fantastic.

Third would be Harry Potter, which say what you want, was a great film and is one of the best stories every told. The characters (Watson, Grint, and Radcliffe) have a great rapport.

Inception, I agree is overrated. I can’t help but roll my eyes when people talk about how much it blew their mind. It may have, in that moment, but it is one of the “purposely overcomplicated” films that pseudo-intellectuals love to pour over.

Oh and also, Anne Hathaway as a 6’11″/180 high school forward? You have some high standards–she is absolutely gorgeous.

Otherwise, glad to see AC Radio is back.

Thanks, man. Glad to have you on board, even if Ben isn’t. Because he’s a dick, you see.

The King’s Speech was the Oscar-baitiest Oscar-bait possible. Perfectly fine acting, but a grand total of ZERO people are going to remember they even saw it in five years.

The best thing I could say about The Social Network is that it’s just like real life: No plot, shitty characters, and in the end everyone you hate wins.

Hands down, Blue Valentine was the best/most soul-crushingly depressing movie I saw all year. The only problem is that I wanted to hang myself with an extension cord after I watched it.

Dr. Rob is now 2/2 on movie recommendations. Go you.
